The Chatham County Historical Association, Inc. owns and maintains this website, including all information, documents, communications, files, text, and graphics available through the website (herein collectively referred to as “Materials”), as a service to the general public. By accessing or using this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms of use (herein collectively referred to as “Terms of Use”), which may change at any time. If you breach any of the Terms of Use, your authorization to use and access the website automatically terminates, and any Materials downloaded or printed from the website in violation of the Terms of Use must be immediately destroyed. 

Use of Materials (Limited License to Users)

Except as indicated to the contrary elsewhere on the website, you may view, download, copy, and print Materials subject to the following conditions:

Trademarks identify products and services, and let the public know the source of those products and services.  You may make fair use of Marks owned by the Chatham County Historical Association, Inc. without permission, provided you follow standard Mark usage practices and provide proper attribution, and it is not used in any of the following ways:

«       In, as, or as part of your own trademarks,

«       To identify products or services not belonging to the Chatham County Historical Association, Inc.,

«       In a manner likely to cause confusion,

«       In a manner inaccurately implying the Chatham County Historical Association, Inc. sponsors, endorses, or is otherwise connected with your own activities, products, and services, or

«       In a manner to disparage the Chatham County Historical Association, Inc.

Other uses require written permission. Marks owned by third parties are subject to their own Terms of Use.

All national and international copyright laws apply to the Materials on the website. Any failure to display the copyright notice along with the Materials found on the website does not constitute a waiver of the copyright. All Materials are copyright by their respective owners. 

Your Privacy Rights

The website does not collect information about you, and does not use cookies. 

General

The Terms of Use and the other rules, guidelines, licenses and disclaimers posted on the website constitute the entire agreement between the Chatham County Historical Association, Inc. and you with respect to your use of the website. If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of the Terms of Use, or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to effect the intent of the parties as reflected by that provision, and the remainder of the Terms of Use shall continue in full force and effect. Failure to enforce or exercise any provision of the Terms of Use or related right does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. The section titles used in the Terms of Use are for convenience and have no legal or contractual effect.
