From the West (Siler City): Take US-64 East. Merge onto US-64 Business by taking Exit 378. Continue on Business 64 East. You will arrive at the Historic Courthouse when you enter the traffic circle which is the intersection of Business US-64 and US-15/501.
From the East (Raleigh, Apex): Take US-64 West and take Exit 386 onto Business 64 West. Continue on Business 64 West. You will arrive at the Historic Courthouse when you enter the traffic circle which is the intersection of Business US-64 and US-15/501.
From the North (Chapel Hill): Take US-15/501 South to Pittsboro. You will arrive at the Historic Courthouse when you enter the traffic circle which is the intersection of Business US-64 and US-15/501.
From the South (Sanford): Take US-15/501 North / NC-87 North / Hawkins Ave. North toward Pittsboro. Continue to follow US-15/501 North /Sanford Road into Pittsboro. You will arrive at the Historic Courthouse when you enter the traffic circle which is the intersection of Business US-64 and US-15/501.
From the Northwest (Greensboro): Take US-421 South and take Exit 171 toward Pittsboro/Siler City. Keep left to take the ramp toward Pittsboro. Turn left onto US-64 East. Merge onto US-64 Business by taking Exit 378. Continue on Business 64 East. You will arrive at the Historic Courthouse when you enter the traffic circle which is the intersection of Business US-64 and US-15/501.
The Chatham Historical Museum is located in the Historic Chatham County Courthouse at 9 Hillsboro Street, in the middle of the traffic circle in the center of Pittsboro.
PARKING
Free off-street parking is available in the Presbyterian Church lot to the northeast of the Historic Courthouse and in the county lot east of the courthouse. There is additional parking at the Courthouse Annex off Sanford Road south of the Historic Courthouse. On-street parking is available on both sides of the street in the Pittsboro business district, north, south, east and west of the Historic Courthouse.
ACCESSIBILITY
The Chatham Historical Museum in the Chatham County Historical Courthouse is fully wheel-chair accessible. The street-level entrance is located on the north side of the building, at the main entrance.
