We invite you to join the Chatham County Historical Association and our efforts to preserve and share the history of Chatham County. Whether your family roots are deep in Chatham or you are a recent arrival -- whether you live in the county now, or are many miles away -- you have reason to care about Chatham's long and intriguing history. Our online membership application is for new applications to join CCHA.  If you are already a member and wish to renew your membership, please use our online renewal instructions.

If you are giving a gift membership or would prefer to join or renew by mail, you can download a printable membership application and mail it in.

Member Benefits

Members receive a periodic email newsletter and advance notice of association-sponsored programs, exhibits, tours, and events. You'll also find special features and stories of local historical interest. Best of all, you’ll know that you are a key part of the effort to preserve and communicate the history of Chatham County.

Members receive a discount on items in the CCHA Shop, which offers a wide selection of books and pamphlets on local history, genealogy, and related topics, as well as other items commemorating aspects of Chatham’s history. The member discount also applies to gift shop items ordered by mail and online.

Members are also entitled to volunteer assistance with one genealogical inquiry per year at no charge.
