Prime Minister Al-Sudani highlighted that Iraq had suffered through decades of wars and sanctions, leading to a disconnect from the global technological advancements during a critical period of digital evolution. This situation has driven the government to focus on digital transformation across all state levels. A high-level committee has been formed under his chairmanship, including ministers and heads of government authorities, to prioritize efforts that will enable the country to make significant strides in this area. The government has also begun a comprehensive review of what has been achieved so far to strengthen and build upon successful initiatives.
